If you were selling your rx8, and had to pick from these 6 choices, which one would you pick?

Since you posted the thread without anything about what is important to you and driving in your life, I'm going to assume that your sole reason for picking any car is self gratification of being able to point to your car and say "see what I have!" and bystanders will be impressed and awed, bowing to you again and again in your superiority.


So pick the Z4. Or maybe the 370z. The G35 with big *** chrome wheels might do the trick. But then again the 335i would fit the bill too.


Just don't pick the Lexus. They don't have many fake e-peens there, and you probably wouldn't fit in. You would be unremarkable in the other communities.

This was simply an opinion poll to gauge the interest in the cars listed, by the rx8 community. I did not list any specifics about myself, as from my time on this forum it has been very clear most of you are enthusiasts, as am I, and would want most of the same things out of a car as I would. Based on that, the sole purpose of this thread was, for anyone willing to respond, if you were selling your rx8 and had to pick from this list which one would it be. You do not need specifics about me as you would be making this decision based on your opinion and perspective. Regrettable I should have worded the original post better so as to give a better understand as to the purpose of the poll. But lets be honest the literal interpretation of the thread title is absurd, why would anyone let total strangers on a car forum pick there next car. This was not my intention, but as previously stated regarding the original post I should have made my intentions more clear. The original post has now been edited.

 

All those cars seem a bit 'heavy' for me, except thr WRX, and being a 2006, it's too old to consider.

 

If I HAD to pick one of those 6 it would probably be the 335i coupe. None of those cars excite me though.

 

As Roidz said, the bmw however none of those options are very appealing to me.

Suggestion: Porsche Cayman or C6 Vette

If i ignore your list and 'used', and just go by price, Subaru BRZ in May 2012

 

I do really like the cayman, but from what I've found its a little out of my price range.

I pick 2012 RX8 with a twin turbo 20B.

 

none of them really. Some of the other suggests are better as well.

If you're looking at a 2006+ Z4, look for a Z4M coupe. They can be had for just a little bit more money and are a lot more car.

I have my 8 and my wife has a 2004 Z4 3.0i sport with manual tranny. If I had to sell my 8, I would get the Z4 //M coupe.

 

You didn't list it in the options but I'd pick a Lexus IS 250 (even over the IS 350).
