That's what we Americans said when Japanese cars first came on our shores.

 

Yep, back in the day when "mad in Germany" means high-end stuff where "made in Japan" means you can't afford the good stuff.

Then it becomes "made in Japan" for good stuff & "made in Taiwan" for the poor.

Finally it comes to "made in Taiwan" for decent stuff (sadly, still not good enough) and "made in China/Korea/whatever" for low-end stuff.

I don't think I'm ready to buy a korean car yet.

 

Well you should read the reviews for the latest crop of cars from Hyundai, they are beating the American cars in most comparos. The latest Hyundai/Kia minivan trashes anything American and the Nissan Quest.
