Nothing wrong with that, just that I don't really see it. I might not have the best vision as far as things like that are concerned.

I think Mazda has a case for theft of intellectual property. Obviously Nissan's GT-R design team has been studying RX-8 pictures rather collaberating on a "ground-up" design. Bastards. Them and every other car we talk about in here. :D

 

I hear the newest 18 wheeler big rigs from International are going to resemble the RX-8!

Since we're comparing cars here... The roofline and general profile of the GT-R reminds me of a 3G Eclipse. They don't look alike, but there are certainly some similar lines and dimensions.

 

You know, it took 3 posts for someone to say it looked like an 8. Normally it is the first post. Maybe things are getting better in that regard?

 

Direct front view looks ok, the rest needs a redesign though. And those tail lights are horrible.

 

The round tails are about the only thing that would clue someone in to it being a GT-R if you take the badges off.

 

Im just not feeling the roof line. From the bottom of the windows down looks good but something just looks messed up with the c pillar, maybe its the crease.

 

Now THAT has some RX-8 styling cues. Especially the rear.

 

a lot of you seem to disagree, but my favorite part is the front. i dont think the front and back ends match well.
