I've been offered a Mercedes 450 SEL (1977 model), it drives well but when I turn the steering wheel hard to the left, I notice a squeak noise.

No noise on sharp right turns.

Sounds like some rubber part is hitting something else. If it is not the CV boot, what else could it be?
