Yea, when at NHIS on Monday for an HPDE we almost lost our garage rights, and a couple people actually did I think, they had to refund the money... the track or Goodyear or someone wanted to store some of the hundreds of tires they'll use this weekend in some of the car bays already sold.

Made me wonder why it takes a week or more to get ready for these things... probably a lot of effort getting all the billboards up for television audiences everywhere.

Oh to answer your ?, never been to a NASCA event...likey never will - I don't like being with large crowds of people all milling around.

But the most relevant answer is I can drive parts of the same track myself, with more than a few twistie bits thrown in in my own 8 - every 2 weeks or so, if I wanted. Now THAT makes sense to me :D ! But to drive or watch them drive that itsie bitsie NHIS track in a stock car (must take them all of a 45 seconds to go-round once!) I still say that's insanity, pit crew action or not.
