I'm sorry about that, I misunderstood what we were talking about. I thought you just meant in general so I was thinking "why would a vette owner give a ... about this car?". I didn't realize we were talking SCCa classes etc. and all that, from that standpoint I'm sure all the guys with the 50-60 grand cars are pissed at the Elise's and Miata's of this world :D so I would totally agree with what you were saying. Still don't like the styling too much, but there are some folks who say the same about the Enzo, so as a car lover and enthusiast I look at cars through different windows then the average trendy moron so I do have to give this car its due. one thing that occurred to me is that at first glance this car doesn't scream out as much as a vette,8, EVO STI (think wing)etc. so when more of them start showing up on the road, I think a lot of folks that try and test them (at events,on the road etc.) are going to be unpleasantly suprised when they're left in the wake of getting owned by such an innocent looking car.

I like the idea of the elise but I just don't like the styling of it, like its trying too hard to be different when it already is different from most cars.

 

I forget what package he got i will have to ask him. He didn't get the sport package because that is basically all for track and the tires ware down faster. I know that much. As for pictures here is the link. Lotus Elise
And whoever said this car won't stick out against ANY car out there needs to get their eyes checked. I have been to several car shows and the Lotus Elise stood out more then any car there. Not to be mean or anything. Just difference of opinion i guess

 

the rx-8 is positively bland next to an elise.
