If i was that guy i'd constantly be telling people:

"You disgust me. I am going to be sick. Hold out your hands...so I can vomit...into your lower-class hands!"

*Paraphrased from Wonder Showzen*

If they were normal versions I'd have a hard time choosing between the F40 and the 288 GTO. But considering that's a F50 GT there's no way in hell I could turn it down. 750bhp @10,500RPMS and 2,000lbs wet <drool>, I can't think of many cars I'd rather drive.

I'm with Ike on the F50 GT, but I'd never be able to drive another car again. They'd all feel like minivans.

I need a clean pair of shorts after seeing that. I'd take anyone of those, they are ridiculous, but would prefer the Enzo...

How can y'all tell the upper-left one is a GTO?? to me it looks more like an
(-other) F40 with a revised rear body panel/wing.

IIRC, the GTO did not have the radically wide f/r fenders with the air gaps, like those plainly visible on the F40s. Also, the GTO had a high side-mounted air scoop reminiscent of the 308, which is not present in the pic. Basically, both those cars on the front of the trailer look the same, from the rear wheels forward. dunno...maybe there was a GTO-to-F40 retrofit put out by Ferrari?

From the front they sort of look like a RX-8. I think they stole the design from our car!

No. Like it was said earlier, these are all racing versions of these cars. The GTO is a 288 GTO Evoluzione. I believe this is the car that was created to take part in group b racing. I remember watching a documentary cars too fast to race and it was featured. I doubt there are too many of these cars in existance. And I do agree that it does have a similar look to the F40 LM from the side.

The 288 GTO Evoluzione and F50 GT are both in Progect Gotham 3.

Look up GTO Evoluzione, as was pointed out earlier they are all the special limited versions of these cars (homologation specials if you prefer), not just the regular ole F40, F50, GTO.

They look alike because the F40 was highly based on the GTO Evoluzione.

Beat me to it...

Yes it was created to compete in group B and I think they decided to pull out before production was completed so I don't know what the final production number was but I know it's less than the 200 required.

Wow, good info, thanks....so basically the plain-jane Enzo is the most 'pedestrian' ride of the 5 in that pic!!?

I just watched a show on Disovery HD about the Ferrari Club of New England. The club spent a weekend in Lime Rock tracking their Ferraris and it was depressing because now I feel like I drive a Geo Metro compared to these beauties.

Correct

Only 19 F40 LMs were produced and 3 F50 GTs were produced. I did some research, and only 5 GTO Evoluziones were completed and about 20 FXXs were built.

A correction on my above statement, only 25 cars were required for group B at the time the GTO Evo was produced, it obviously never made it through a stage.

Between 250k and 300k for the regular model. Are you sure it was a 288 rather than a somewhat similar looking 308 or 328?
