What exactly makes this an rx8 hatchback? the fact that both cars share similar front fenders? IMO this looks nothing like an rx8.

I dunno.... it looks like a generic rehash of mid/late 90's concept cars. It's not ugly, there's just nothing particularly new or special about it, style-wise.

Soon as I looked at it, I thought of the RX-8. If you believe that immitation is the highest form of flattery, then this is certainly another affirmation of the RX-8 concept and design. The over-wide, scissor doors make the free-style rear doors unnecessary. I have always liked hatchback designs, as with the old Volvo P1800. I think it is an excellent concept and would love to see it in production as long as it has cutting-edge technology in its electronics and drive-train.
