Dodge Zeo concept; RX8 hatchback?

I don't know why Chrysler can't get away from their Dodge Truck grill on every car they make.

BlueEyes 01-16-2008 06:51 AM

No. Thanks for playing though.

JmurphRx8 01-16-2008 07:26 AM

What exactly makes this an rx8 hatchback? the fact that both cars share similar front fenders? IMO this looks nothing like an rx8.

I like it, too bad it will never be made.

I see where you're coming from:

-front fenders
-door crease
-side windows

Since the Crossfire is now out of the picture...

Key Performance Attributes
0-60 mph 5.7 seconds
Standing ¼ mile 11.0 seconds
Top speed 130 mph
All-electric range 250 miles
Equivalent mpg 120 mpg

0-60 in 5.7 but an 11 sec quarter? What the, if its electric steady torque curve right? 3.7 might be more accurate...

Nemesis8 01-16-2008 09:46 AM

At least it has no strakes in the front fender grills

Socket7 01-16-2008 09:55 AM

I think it looks nice.

clearly a mazda profile

altspace 01-16-2008 12:11 PM

Well, it has wheel arches so sure I guess it's similar. Then again, so much of today's design is something from something else.

Rhawb 01-16-2008 12:24 PM

That's actually pretty close to looking like a decent car. Fix up the messed up rear end, ditch the Dodge grille, and you've got a decent looking car.

Extreme wheel spin lol

terrypk1 01-16-2008 05:17 PM

looks really comparable to that of the KABURA...kind of weird. but i would say that it is a definte rip off from mazda.

Keef 01-16-2008 05:25 PM

that's sad, the car can beat us too 130, but I can easily pass 130...

kevinD1226 01-16-2008 05:52 PM

i think it looks nice and wouldnt suprise me to see something similar to that coming out dodge has to do something fast..

WTF is with the Crossfire "dog taking a dump" rear end?

Hideous!

Mikeluvs8 01-16-2008 11:42 PM

:puke:

IcarusX8 01-16-2008 11:46 PM

Actually.... it's the Chevy Logo.

Chevy has alway used the cross.

m477 01-17-2008 12:31 AM

I dunno.... it looks like a generic rehash of mid/late 90's concept cars. It's not ugly, there's just nothing particularly new or special about it, style-wise.

Design1stCode2nd 01-17-2008 12:19 PM

I thought the same thing about the front, "hey those are RX8 fenders!".

BoomerBurt 01-21-2008 12:51 PM

Soon as I looked at it, I thought of the RX-8. If you believe that immitation is the highest form of flattery, then this is certainly another affirmation of the RX-8 concept and design. The over-wide, scissor doors make the free-style rear doors unnecessary. I have always liked hatchback designs, as with the old Volvo P1800. I think it is an excellent concept and would love to see it in production as long as it has cutting-edge technology in its electronics and drive-train.
