Consumer Reports names Mazda "most improved" in 2011 Reliability Survey

The biggest improvement was from Mazda, which moved up eight spots from last year. All its models were rated above average.

"Ford’s drop can also be attributed to problems with new technologies..."

Makes me wonder how the SkyActiv will do. I love the SkyActiv Mazda3, but I'm not sure I want to be a beta tester again

Ford ? new technologies? excuse me? what exactly did they have really? oh yes, snap a turbo on and it's new. oh yeah. and it's not running right? hmm

the new Mazda3 is not really 100% SkyActiv yet, no 4-2-1 header, no ultra high compression piston, only 12:1 on the Mazda3, well the most we would get in the US is 13.5:1 thanks to our "unstable aka garbage" gas quality.

but yea, I would try to avoid the first year model of ANY car ... not just Mazda ...

I think that's due to Mazda breaking away from Ford not too long ago.

it's because us Mulligans are out of warranty and don't bother reporting our issues to dealerships anymore
