Chrysler "Web Editon" Vehicle Package

The package includes a mobile router, a Dell Mini 9, 8GB iPod touch, Sony PSP an Eye-Fi WiFi SD card plus one year of internet service. You can add it to just about any Chrysler Dodge or Jeep.

hmm... go buy a car with package and then let them repo the car and keep the stuff for free?

seems like alot of tech sitting in a dealership. i foresee a bunch of break-ins

router = $40
mini 9 = $400
8 gig ipod touch = $200
psp = $250?

So roughly $1000.

OMFG!

Isn't there already enough crap in the cars to cause distraction for 90% of the (idiot) drivers out there?

Almost every time I'm at a left turn in this city and there is a car opposite me - the driver is on a cell phone and turning left at the same time.

Bullcrap!

We don't need to feed these idiots more stuff to play with while they are driving.

Down with in-car navi! Down with Sync! Down with cell phones!

Now they're gonna Promote that the average idiot driver SURF the WEB while they are playing in traffic?

Ridonculous!!!!!

[/Rant]

Sigh..... Now, that's better. :-)

I do agree that's a bit much of tech, however I've come to love navigation and bluetooth mobile phone use is ok. That's much like simply talking to another person in the car. Now texting while driving, that really irks me.

Josh, I'm sure that you are absolutely in the 10% who use technology properly - as a tool, without distracting yourself from the business at hand of trying not to kill pedestrians, cyclists, etc.

It's the other 90% that scares me.
