Choice of SUV !

if u ask me, I like the CX-7
Before the test drive, I had some doubts about the car
After the test drive, the only drawback is the slight turbo lag. Price is right, performance is ok, interior is ok.
If getting a Lexus RX350, it will be like 45 K, and its pretty negotiate on the Rx350 because its a *hot* selling car ...
I dont know, we will go test drive RDX and Lexus tomorrow. So my mind can change, if any of them perform better.

Service Manual ?
I went to Wayne Mazda today ....wow that dealership is freaking huge ! with like probably 500 cars in the back lot ... by the time I got there it was already like 6:15, but I still went in and play with their CX-7 for a bit then a sale pops up, greet me and took me to the back to show me the car; then he wants me to get it and he will drop 3.2K off MSRP. lol nah I cant, maybe monday I will bring my father in and see what happens ...

I'd be surprised if you gave all those a fair shot if he DIDN'T pick the Murano. As far as SUV's for people who have Zero need for an SUV, they are tops. Old people and women love them. It's simpel and nice at the same time, smooth with the CVT, and Nissan is as reliable as anyoen right now. Additionally, if he looks used, they depreciate pretty quickly as well. I think you have the right cars(yeah I meant it) chosen, if you are staying away from Toyota. If not, Rav-4 and Highlander are both good options.

At this time of year there is likely enough Dealer Cash on holdover '07's to come close to that. It mostly depends on the ammount of supply of '07 cars nationally. Normally, $1k under invoice is not possible. Mazda tends to have transparent incentives and performance based incentives at this time of year however. The worst they can say is NO. I recommend you directly ask hwo much Dealer cahs there is. You should be able to at leat get Invoice- Dealer cash at this time of year. Holdback should be enough to cover the floorplan on the car and the dealer will be happy to rid himself of an '07 about to have a birthday.

You guys owe it to yourself to try the Santa Fe. I know you said your father still believes in the stigma surrounding certain car companies. Hyundai has increased the quality of their cars dramatically. Even if he doesn't like it, at least try it. I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.
The 3.3 pulls very nicely, the transmission is very smooth and the ride is amazingly comfortable. Not to mention a fully loaded one costs the same as some of the other choices base models. You also can't forget the 10 year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Which is nice, since he plans to get 10 years out of it. It also runs on regular.

but what Im thinking is that, it depends on who she will do the financing with, if there is no penatly charge for early payoff, say, like MAC. Then I will just *sure do the financing*. my father will pay it off earlier anyway
I sent her a messaging asking which financing plan will I get. I mean hey, on my side of view, I need to get best out of my money ,right ?

I know Hyundai's quality has been greatly improved. but you know old people's mind .... is not that easy to change.
