Changing Wheel sizes
If someone wanted to change his/her wheels from the stock size of 245/40-18 to a 255/30-20.
Would he/she have to get their speedo recaliberated to the new wheel size ?

No stock tire size is 225/45/18
there would be about a .2% difference so you'd be perfectly fine.
if this is not for the rx-8 the sizes u state will be 1.2% different, which is not much anyways.

the outside dia of the stock tire is 25.9 inches.. make sure the replacement tire is the same.
problem solved.. and recalibrating the speedo is not a easy thing to do right now..
