But I don't want a new Jetta.

How many times do I have to close the popup Jetta ad before the algorithm realizes I'm not interested? I must close it over a hundred times a month. And the sad part is I like VWs (well, the GTI). But, because of these popups, I now HATE the Jetta, whereas before I had no opinion about it. So, because of their marketing, VW has effectively put one of their models on my "never buy" list, along with Coors beer, Slomin's Shield and a Lexus at Christmas.

The ad algorithm uses your interest history. clearly it sees your interest in volkswagons, and gives you similar ads.

Everyone complains about the ads. I only ever get a Verizon ad and its very seldom on mobile only.

And why aren't you using ad blockers on your internet browser?
You wouldn't see any pop up ads if you were.

I need to install something in Chrome.... I keep getting bombed with Shinola watch ads (which is a fine watch) and then all sorts of sleazy versions of match.com. ugh!
