Worse interior, handling
Better torque, power, heavier


They can't do "lightweight" or "suspension". They even say in the concept that is linked that the chassis will be based on the Cruze...


People will still buy it. Unfortunately.

 

a little. 150 hp is way too little. Needs an extra 100 more hp.

 

Don't like it, and it does look like a mini RX8.
I'm waiting for the next rotary car, or just breakdown and get an Evo9/10.

If GM is gonna mess around with stuff like that, just bring Pontiac back as your performance division already. They should have never axed it in the 1st place, but we all know GM has a history of not listening to what their customers want anyway.

I think people are misinterpreting what is meant by "looks like". It does look like an RX-8. It has some styling cues that were butchered from a series II RX-8. It's not that someone would confuse it with an RX-8 if it one drove by.

I don't think anyone is trying to argue that it looks as good as the 8 or even comparing it directly to the 8. There are just some similarities.

I don't get it??? This new platform which will be the chassis for the next Camaro, is due to run a 2.0 turbo with 270HP/260 Ft/lbs, so why the lame 1.4 turbo? Looks like GM is going to shoot themselves in the foot before production. If your going to tout how great the car is, at least use some of your assets.

remember all the hype of the chvey volt? omg the greatest thing on earth, and it end up worst than toyota prius and hyundai sonata hybrid. oh did i forgot to mention its a ******* hybird, not a pure electric bullshit they first said? even in pure ev form it stil worst than a nissan leaf. sad
