Aussie V8 SUPERCARS Race Starts with G8's Racing
The V8 Supercar Series for 2007 has just started...see the new G8 or VE V8 Commodore's on the track.

The link above has video downloads of the past few years...
2007 video snap shots probably won't be available for a few days..
The first round "CLIPSAL 500" has just started this weekend in Adelaide my home town and where the G8 is made.
This is the best V8 series in the WORLD...much better than your "silly little" (sounds like Top Gears Hamster) oval tracks that go around and around and around....BORING!!

2007 VE Holden Commodore (G8) by Holden Racing Team have just won the first heat of round 1 Today at the CLIPSAL 500 in it's first outing....

I reckon it's great the series has adopted the Formula 1 qualifying system.
One thing I noticed during the event was that some cars are in a disadvantage when they pit and there is a car in front of them. The pitstop area is too small... it ruins that driver's chances of maintaining their lead/advantage.
Overall, I'm so glad the V8s are back. Pity F1 racing is not the same thrilling, close racing event.
FORD rules... HOLDEN sucks. LOL.

Yeah, we are trying to get a permanent and much larger muti-purpose pit lane and grandstand built in the parkland's, the existing temporary one goes back to the F1 days...20 years...but the "greenies" are stopping its progress.
