Any watch fans?

Was browsing around and just found a watch comissioned by Mazda. It's manufactured by Sinn, a german dive watch company that uses submarine grade steel. I thought it was pretty cool. Price tag is $2,000 which is about on par with other Sinn watches.

Only if that's your opinion

I'm personally on the fence, I don't really like the case but the dial design is pretty cool. I'm thinking about picking up a Sinn U2 or U1000 PVD pretty soon.

Lots of nice watches have rubber straps, big deal.

One of my favorite watches manufacturers Bell and Ross use a rubber strap. Most people that buy high end watches get custom leather watch straps made anyways.

Which panerai. I love those, but most of them are to big for me. I stick with my plain old black faced Submariner. Smooth and classy.

Which one? Crazy that you could afford that watch but only an 8. My uncle dives with one and I know his was around 6 grand.

If it was a gift I understand. I've gotten some pretty nice watches over the years...nothing even close to the price of a submariner but I love em =). The 16613 is my second favorite watch with the two tone look....

My favorite is a breitling bentley model thats over 15K ....would never buy it though

It's economics. You can get a used Submariner for less than 4k, and it won't really go down in value if you take care of it. It's classy and nice and goes with any occasion. I can wear this for the rest of my life. How many $200-500 "nice" watches can you go through in a lifetime?

My 8 on the other hand. It's already depreciated enough to almost make me think I should have bought a cheaper car, but I just love driving it to much. I could have bought a more expensive car but the 8 just called to me so I got it. Plus my wife tried to cancel my sports car shopping by stating that she wanted me to get a 4 door.......I got her .

My watch.... I liked the band, face and the fact that it was rather flat. Not the most expensive, but not exactly cheap either.
