That was a good job by Ike though, although the backwheel is kinda turned...
But the fact that you even managed to swap the wheel is wow...
Musta spent alot of time in it.

i think they should release the FD rx7 again... dont even remodel it, just release the same model as before... offering it in only yellow black and red, maybe silver. id buy it in a heartbeat.

Not a bad idea, I'd buy one too. But they would never do that, especially because of their own domestic market where it sold right up until 2002.

I've always said that if they do come out with another RX-7 that it should be an evolution of the FD design. Similar to what Ford has done with the Ford GT. It's all new, but it sure looks very similar to the legendary GT40 of the '60s.

I recently read that Ford wanted to name their current car the GT40, but as the old one was out of production for so long, someone else had aquired the rights to the name. So the had to settle for just "Ford GT". Sure hope Mazda does not let go of the RX-7 name, then they'll be forced to call it something like the RX-9.
