Am I doing something wrong w/ Emanage?

I am trying to install the Greddy Emanage Support Tool, but i cannot get it to communicate with my Lap Top. I have tried several computers but no Luck. All I get is "OFFLINE" on the bottom right of the Emanage Screen. I have version 1.20/1.40. Can anyone help. I remember I was able to do it once when I first got my Greddy Kit, but i no longer have that computer.

You are doing something wrong. You are posting in the wrong forum. This should be in the emanage section of the Aftermarket Parts and Mazdaspeed forum.

Mods?

Check to make sure it's the correct port. Since it's a differrent pc, they may not be setup correctly.
-right click "my computer"
-click on properites
-select "hardware tab"
-select "device manager"
-look under ports tab and see where it's connected to.
Then setup the emangae support software to the same port (COM1,COM2,etc..)

This is probably the problem. I doubt it's a software rev issue since you said it worked before.

Check the COM port assignment.

One thing that I failed to mention is that I don't have the 9prong serial port on my laptop. I have an adapter that from the greddy wire that converts to a USB PORT. I called benny at Greddy, he says that the adapter should work. However my computer is not recognizing the hardware. Do any of you, know what driver I should be running? Or where I can get it?

The driver that came with the serial to USB adapter should work just fine.
Once again, check the COM port assignment in the Support Tool and make sure it is the same as what the serial to USB is reporting.
