I love "Top Gear".
How do you arrange for that kind of test? Just call up Brittish Airways and ask to borrow a 747?

Former NY Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy can tell you what Jet backwash does to a 1995 Honda Civic

Mythbusters got into all kind of safety restrictions and were forced to use a stand alone engine on the ground which is not exactly the same thing. I guess you can only pull off this sort of stuff in UK !

In case you are interested, here's the show:

Lol.. That shows you how great the civic truly is! (Stupid honda commercial music chimes in)
That is weird though.. heh

But I must say, Top Gear is really a strange show.. It's really amusing but all of the stunts are pointless.. Like trying to target that Lotus with an Apache, or showing you how the car withstands a jet blast.. heheh, entertainment i guess

Mythbusters are punks. Most of the stuff they "bust" they don't perform correctly. I say that the myth that Jamie and whatsisname can find their rear ends with both hands to be... busted.

Love Top Gear. Tried emailing BBC America to request adding it to the lineup. They said "dream on". Guess the best we can hope for is still video.google.com The bugati veyon video was amazing...

Don't they usually have a jet parked on the runway they use for a track? I've seen it in the background in several clips. Not sure what it was as I was concentrating on the cars, but I remember seeing it several times.
