4" intake pipe- works like a charm

Originally when I started my intake project last year I tried several different size intake pipes to see which on would actually work with no CEL's. When it was all said and done I went with a 3.5" custom CAI setup that I designed. Well I have recently revamped my intake. I have gone from the 3.5" to 4" pipe. Although I have cut the intake down to a short ram the intake draws air through the 3.5" elbow that fits inside the front of the filter housing and snakes outside the car like a revi duct. It does not feel like I've made a major increase in power but the car pulls a little hard and picks up alot faster than it did with the 3.5" pipe.

very professional looking. I would have never guessed you made it.

Would be cool if you would dyno test it between the 3.5" pipe and the new 4" pipe, although I bet gains are minimal, at least it would put a tangiable figure there, ya know?

Oh yeah; where'd you get the pipe that holds the MAF? From ebay as well?

I cut it off my stock airbox. If I ever dyno I will take the 3.5" pipe with me to see if there is a difference. I think there will be cause I can feel it.

Not much difference in sound but has a nice hum at idle.
