Just read the article. Here's a quote that's a lot more intersting than these pics:

The more I look at it, the more it looks like the car is actually about the same length, maybe even a little longer. The roof definitely looks shorter to me, though. Maybe the actual car underneath it all is shorter, thus necessitating a shorter roof, while the bodywork on it is about the same as a current 350z?

What?! The 400 correlates to the engine size? We should have that the same convention... call it the Rx-130 or something..

That's how Nissan/Infiniti has done it with the 350Z and G35 (3.5L engines). With the new 3.7L engine the new Infiniti is going to be called the G37. So, it would follow that the 400Z would be a 4.0L engine.
