2012 RX9 pictures

Some have heard the return of the Rx7 in a diferent way than it did like the RX8, we have yet to believe it's true, with FORD eventually owning MAZDA the reality to return the reputation of the LEGENDARY RX7 that gained it's respect in the sports market obligated us to fall in love with it's inique style of body and engine not to mention the comfort for many enthusiatics such as rotary fans.

Here is the picture of what's supposely could be the 2012 RX9. I find it very challenged but as well looks like a copy cat version of the 370z.

You guys might laugh and call me a liar of what I'm about to say, but the RX-9 was allready released to the market.

Here's a video....
www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=LyNy3XMv7AI

From 1978-1981

In "General issue" countries the export version of the LA43S Luce was called the RX-9.

So if they really revive the Rotary engine in 2012 it should be called RX-9, this way it give buyers a new chance to try something diferent and maybe better than the RX8. ( Should it be TURBO , hell yeah.. )

Calling it again RX8 won't really gain trust to buyers since the downlow rating of the RENESIS engine.

Calling it again RX7 - might bring controversity and doubt like the RX8 did, but it has it's pros & cons.

The rest of the speculation is all good, with a larger 1.8-litre Renesis rotary sporting twin turbo-chargers, supposedly being earmarked for the “9” which should address the torque deficit found in the RX-8. The gearbox is reported to be a six-speed dual clutch unit similar to that found in Mitsubishi’s EvoX and the concept retains the RX-8’s rear wheel drive layout

Enjoy

Best looking rendition I've seen of the new RX, no ridiculous 'smiling' front fascia.

Ugly photoshop too!

Let's be real with the downlow rating of the RX8 Renesis Engine ( which is true )...

You as a RX8 owner should know that the renesis RX8 engine performance, quality, durable, and being compatible with many aftermarket parts can't NEVER EVER be compared to the Legendary RX7. That's plain and simple.

As for the 2012 RX9 being TURBO or N/A, note that it's not official, howver the rumors of having a turbo or not were provocked by us RX8 owners of why didn't MAZDA do it in the first place. Note also that MAZDA/FORD were hammered due to the lack of quality on the RX8 which affected sales, the ammendments on the warranty, the lack of unexperienced rotary techs at the dealers, and not to mention it's reputation for which buyers did not hazzle and considered purchasing the 350z, 370z, STI's, EVO's, CAMARO's, MUSTANG's instead of the RX8.

Note that the Mazda/Ford won't make a gas hogger sportscar to the market when TOYOTA ,SUBARU, MITSUBISHI are under projects to obtain better MPG and less polution with their new concepts, so the turbo dispute could be affected if they consider competing with todays economy.

BTW just google under images RX9 and you'll see the original picture, if it's a photoshop or original not I don't know, why not asking the original author how and where he got this picture from.

http://brunei-rx8-club.blogspot.com/2008/11/rx-9-hmm.html

Again no disrespect, but the reason for posting this, is because there are about 5 diferent versions of what the next 2012 RX9, RX7 or RX8 or call it whatever might look like.....

I hate the front of the 2009 looks wacked with the facelift... if u ask me , I'll defenitely consider buying a diferent front bumper, MAZDA/FORD designer were on crack if you ask me when they agreed with the RX8 facelift

first off, Which Rx-7 are we talking about ?

in terms of reliability, 13B-MSP put 13B-REW to shame.

NA to NA, 13B-MSP put 13B-EGI (or other 12a) to shame

13B-rew needs turbo to have performance BETTER than 13B-MSP. take the turbo out its nothing but garbage.

compatible with many aftermarket parts? what you mean? if you talk about "swap that intake and u'll get 20 hp" then sorry. all NA cars are like that. same thing for RX-7 NA.

Rx-7 TURBO was a legend because its easy to get a lot of power and great handling. NOT reliability.

you really need to get your facts straight.

As for the 2012 RX9 being TURBO or N/A, note that it's not official, howver the rumors of having a turbo or not were provocked by us RX8 owners of why didn't MAZDA do it in the first place.
Its already been said that the next one will still be NA.

Original 13B-MSP idea came from a bunch of "rotary fan" at Mazda, back then when Ford owned 33% stakes, they dont know **** about Rotary, and they want to make as much money as possible. so they Canned the R&D funding. but bunch of rotary guys at Mazda weren't happy about this, and they start working on it at their "spare time". finally when the Side Port idea finally worked, they present it to the higher ups, there is no reason to deny it. Thats how it started.

Pretty much like how Rotary start in 1960s, when they first got Blueprints and a "Not really work" prototype from NSU. the engineers at Mazda back then was working a A small *** dark room with almost no resources.

Note that the Mazda/Ford won't make a gas hogger sportscar to the market when TOYOTA ,SUBARU, MITSUBISHI are under projects to obtain better MPG and less polution with their new concepts, so the turbo dispute could be affected if they consider competing with todays economy.
Toyota didnt make any "super sports car" because they're more focusing at making money. Sports car is pretty much like a "brand image", Toyota already got the best image in the industry, so they dont need a Sports car to further enhance their image.

Subaru got STi, u can call it Econ Box + high boost. but its still their "flag ship" car.

etc etc.

I think it looks pretty good besides the font bumper. It looks like it is in the process

sorry to break it to y ah, but toyota does work on sport cars, just not in a toyota badge. do you honestly think toyota is going to let nissan take all the pride and glory at JGTC?

i would of responded to the rest of the post, but i am sleepy so i think ill go take a nap.

oh mazda isnt going use TC in their next car. they just going to cut the weight to their car.

Is it always a problem for you to review basic comments...

Any previous RX7 were good in their times when new to the market compared to the RX8, note back then MAZDA never walked away from it's customers like they did with the RX8 at the beginning. Sorry you wasn't born to actually live and tell the truth about rotary today like some people do.

in terms of reliability, 13B-MSP put 13B-REW to shame.
you are ****** crazy dude ... obviously you haven't experienced nor seen for your own eyes a real 13B-REW with or without the turbo....

Just so you'll know PUERTO RICO holds the best WORLD ROTARY records in any 12a, 13b, 20b, 26b and in any way 2 rotor, 3 rotor, 4 rotor

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xS4ZM1r--8
Here's a RX8 with a 13b-rew, it's not a RENESIS

And I see you got your engine replaced recently with less than 60k... yeah right the 13B-MSP is reliable.. get your ****** story and your **** straight....

NA to NA, 13B-MSP put 13B-EGI (or other 12a) to shame
LMAO.... I'm going to assume you never wrote that.. jajaja OMG

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQa8GDyY58w
Worlds Fastest ROTARY 13b none of these are 13b-MSP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0Ab4ABB9Fw
This is the Worlds Fastest 12a on a RX8 chassis...not 13b-MSP

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0I8Kacb7PE
The World's FASTEST 13b not 13b-MSP

I would love to see a 13B-MSP break these records... didn't thought so.... only the RX8 chassis is reliable

13B-rew needs turbo to have performance BETTER than 13B-MSP. take the turbo out its nothing but garbage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5JxwXutAig
Here's your stock RX7 13b-rew (no-turbo ) vs stock RX8 13b-msp

Excuse me, yeah, uhhhuumm that's right... documentation and facts....

compatible with many aftermarket parts? what you mean? if you talk about "swap that intake and u'll get 20 hp" then sorry. all NA cars are like that. same thing for RX-7 NA.
You see you have no clue of what I'm talking in general, if you were to compare the options of upgrades any RX7's vs RX8, the 13B-MSP ain't got enough options due to the design FORD gave it....

Rx-7 TURBO was a legend because its easy to get a lot of power and great handling. NOT reliability.
Come one, r u retarded .. any generation of RX7 is a legend, Turbo or not when it was introduced to the market in those days it was mostly everyones dream car besides the ****** camaro z-28, 300z, firebird etc.. jaja lol , I'm surprised you even have the ***** and GUTZ to say that... lmao

you really need to get your facts straight.
Why don't you get ur head out you know where and face the reality. I'm not the one with a replaced 13b-MSP talking it's better than any RX7 engine, cause in the first place many just buy a TURBO, other SC their ****, and at the end , end up with a blown RENESIS... don't lecture me it can happen to any engine, I know this... but let's face the FACT the RENESIS can't hold what the 13b-EGI, 13b-REW or 12a can handle plance and simple.

Its already been said that the next one will still be NA.

That's what I mentioned before, the economy is obligating the market to produce better MPG cars with less pollution. You sound like a scratched CD repeating the same ****..

You just said it in your own words, the 13B-MSP is garbage. Don't worry I'm sure your new engine won't last forever as you might think jajaja, by the time you payoff the bank you're gonna want to swap for a 13b-REW or 13b-EGI, what I'm trying to say is that the new engine for on the rotary should not be nothing compared to the 13b-MSP otherwise it won't sell as much like the RX8 did in the beginning.... we all know that's true.

Pretty much like how Rotary start in 1960s, when they first got Blueprints and a "Not really work" prototype from NSU. the engineers at Mazda back then was working a A small *** dark room with almost no resources.
A little history is always good to back up the reality.

Toyota didnt make any "super sports car" because they're more focusing at making money. Sports car is pretty much like a "brand image", Toyota already got the best image in the industry, so they dont need a Sports car to further enhance their image.
Like I said before ( economy ) you *****, however Toyota is working the new Supra or Celica, allthough the concept was denied for production last year 2008 but in fact this year for 2012 Toyota might be reviving the Celica... it may be a tease. Allthough you're right that Toyota is focused on making money, they even have the best designs but eventually competing in the sportscar list for 2012 it will be challenging to see what they have to bring for consumers that are into SPORTSCARS...

Mazda - RX9, RX8 or RX7 whatever it might be called
Nissan - Skyline, 370z
Toyota - Supra, Celica
Subaru - STI or whatever u wanna call it
Mistusbishi - Eclipse, EVO
Hyundai - Tiburon
Honda - Civic, Accord
Acura - RSX, NSX

Subaru got STi, u can call it Econ Box + high boost. but its still their "flag ship" car.

It's the same candy taste with diferent shape...

etc etc.

All the Crap you spouted and you don't even know that Lexus is Toyota...STFU.
All of those worlds fastest vids are Turbo, and Modded... STFU
In the Stock REW vs Stock MSP vid, the guy in the 8 Babied off the line... STFU
Hyundai: Tiburon? Wrong... Their Sports car is the Genesis... STFU
All the moderately decent info you tried to display was offset by your constant cursing and name calling which merely displayed just how ignorant you truly are... STFU

and in case you didn't get the full effect of what I'm saying...
