Horrible car, I can't believe that Porsche is making SUVs and sedans now. They are not the Porsche I remember and love.

Besides, if I had that kind of money and wanted a sedan, I'd go for a BMW, since they definitely know how to make the sports sedan thing work. This kind of thing--plus the crippling of the Cayman S to keep it from pwning their flagship 911--makes me think that Porsche has some disturbingly short-sighted leadership.

But hey, they're making money hand over fist, so what do I know.

If someone wants a utility vehicle, they will get a Cayenne. The back end is just all wrong on this thing, it's too bad because the rest looks pretty nice. The Aston Martin Rapide is what a big luxury sports sedan should look like. If Porsche would have made the rear part of the greenhouse look a little more like this and got rid of the hatch I think it would be a winner. But as is... fail.

rear from the side looks like a SAAB 9000 from the early 90s

a bunch of years ago when caught looking at the RX-8 some Porshe designer were heard saying "This is what we should have built instead of the Cayenne"

if this was their response to that wish its mega fail (styling wise)

I think the people that don't want to be seen in a SUV is the market they are targeting with the Panamera. I think the Rapide is better looking than the Panamera but it still looks off IMO. Stretch a regular Aston Martin coupe and add two doors looks like all they've done there and for some reason the green house and rear quarters are reminiscent of a 2nd gen Dodge Intrepid from that angle. Aston Martins look great but how many more new models will look just like the same original DB9 coupe from 5 to 6 years ago? A decent looking big luxury sedan IMO is still the Maserati Quattroporte or a Mercedes S sedan.

I figured out what the Porsche reminds me of and its an early Bugatti Veyron concept.
