Not the Mazdaspeed but aside from a lip skirt and some additional accenting, not much that I could see changing... Not my cup o tea but maybe if I get tired of the 8...

I think I could dig it if it were black to hide that ridiculously goofy smile on the front... If the automotive industry had a car that best expressed a retard, the only thing this car is missing is a safety helmet. No offense to special people out there... :P

Won't be a sleeper anymore, sadly. But I'd still love to have one. I'll take mine in black, too, just like my coffee..

that hoodscoop is major! i already love the current one. i'm expecting not too much engine/performance change w/ the new one, but if they do, this is going to be even more of a screamer

MS3 .... It won't be AWD
"I am tired of the 8", WHAT you must be joking, I have a 10 day old one, took it out most of the weekend (we have hills here) , WOW what a car.
This engineering masterpiece has plenty of POKE, nothing could keep up with me through the twisties. The balance , ride and rigidity of the chassis and the way it communicates is superb. Plus the 6 speed stick and the ratio's are spot on...the gearbox is so much fun to use.
The 8 really is an amazing car, after 5 years it still beats most cars that has 3 times the HP and 5 times the price in so many comparisons around the world...
Including the USA.

180% happy so far, more than I expected, the series II just seems more refined than a mates 05 Shinka. Better Stick and feels so tight (chassis)..wonderful!

I'd hardly call the 5-door hatch a "wagon." I heard the same kind of stuff when VW announced a 5-door GTI. Why so much hate on a 5-door if it's the exact same size, anyway?
