2006 350Z refresh

Got these pics from autospies. Looks like they took some slight headlight cues from the RX8. Looks pretty much the same though. The tails look like LEDs, not really feeling the center console though--looks like an afterthought, wish they would have addressed the doors.

I know this is a small thought, but I do like the seats of our 8 better than the 350. Headlights look kinda crazy, tails a take from caddilac maybe??

I see the driver's seat has the same pattern as the 8, but the passenger's seat is not the same. Odd.

^ I agree. Seats in the Z look incredibly cheap...

I do like the projector lights, though. LED's are always good, too. Wouldn't mind having them on the 8.

I believe that seat pattern difference has always been a 'feature' of the Z.

They changed the headlights. The new projector for the HIDs is much larger. If you look at a 03-05 notice how small it is. 350Z drivers always complain about how bad their lights suck at night. Our RX-8 projector is much larger, nice to see them update their lights.

They're just trying to make it more like the 8

I doubt it. It will be hard to spot the new Z on the road.

I prefer the original... these updates look really ugly and tacked-on, like some ricer aftermarket parts or something.

I was under the impression that the 2k6 was supposed to be slightly longer and have 298 hp like the g35. Or was that just for the racing circuit?

Hmm. Nissan shouldn't be addressing power, they need to work on their ride characteristics. Too bumpy, like Magic Fingers. These minor facelifts make me wonder what the next Z-car would look like.
