I had a '06 rx-8 for 3 years. Loved it and miss it. Personally, I would be embarrassed to drive an Evo. I now drive a 370z. Yeah it has more power, but I really miss the 8. If mazda comes out with a new rotary car, i'll be first in line to trade in my Z.
My best friend has an evo IX and hates it. Yeah it has good acceleration but is terrible to drive around town. He also hates looking like a rice racer. He took the ridiculous spoiler off and it looks a lot better, but he is planning on getting rid of it. He's thinking about a G37s or BMW 3 series. Time to grow up and get a real car that has performance AND looks and luxury.
Oh, and the girls like the 8 better than the evo IMHO. They also really like my new Z. The evo seems like an immature car and women don't like it as much. Just my experience :D

Very humble of you Hornet. I buy the cars I do for many reasons, but mainly because I enjoy driving them. And face it, women do like nice cars... don't pretend they don't. And, despite what you believe, I have never had a girl think my car was an extension of my *****.
BTW, the Evo is an amazing car (performance-wise), but i'd never want to own one.
