The Zaino prices are on the cazcomp website that I provided the link to in the previous page. Just click on products, and click on the pictures - you will basically need z5, z2 and the ZFX. Total abt S$110. They also do grooming if you don't like DIY.

This is the result of my use of Zaino (taken a few months ago)...

Why do you need z5 if you do not have swirl marks and scratches?

If you have washed or waxed your car using the wrong type of cloth, trust me, you WILL have swirl marks...It is especially clear on black cars.

So technically speaking I don't have to get it yet cos the car is new. Right? Maybe just buy their stupid(read highly inflated) cloth easier

True, you won't need z5 if your car is still new or if you have minimal swirl marks. Just check the condition of your paint under a bright light.

sgrenesis.... i would still clay bar cos the ppl doing the coat do not...so you might have rail dust or other contaminants trapped inside.....

Zaino is as good as a coat cos it is a very tough polymer sealant.... can last a few months....so if I do it, I would not get a coat. Thinking of getting one cos didn't know it is available in sg....

Genesis,

It is a wax. Wax only adds a protective layer on top of the coat. The unfortunate thing is wax do yellow after a while and they do not last long. You would have to wax every couple of week. I don't wish to become a slave of the car

Fair enough Manwe, so the Zaino treatment is the solution right? Unless you go with sqflyer's suggestion of Glare.

Genesis,

Yes, I guess that is it. Of cos ppl argue that wax could have more depth... but unless you are those who wanna spend a couple of hours faithfully each weekend waxing... I am definitely not going to do that. I still will do zaino.... Some exercise and it is good cos you can inspect your car closely for anything amiss. Moreover, zaino last so long that each time you need to reapply is about the same as taking a Glare car to wash. Probably take about the same time too due to the wait. Unless you are lazy...then I guess Glare would be good...but it certainly would not beat wax or Zaino for shine....

Manwe, your comments are pretty confusing
On one hand you don't wanna be a slave to car thus you wanna go with Glare, on the other you will wanna try Zaino?

So what's your stand?

All these glass-plexin systems like toughseal and glare are very different to the traditional wax. Both got its pros anc cons.

Glare and alike are like what most have mentioned here, it's for those who think time are more important than money. one who don't wanna be a slave to the car. and if your pockets are deep enough, you could always pay extra for the guys to revist the finishing when ever you feel the car needs, otherwise, the normal nos of revist stated in the package is fairly good enough.

Traditional wax, nothing can beat the finish of a fresh waxed car. There are many wax systems available in the market, and the result a lot of it got to do with ones technic experience. For some its the best time to bond with their car, but its definately a very labour intensive and time consuming excerise! But, when you see that shine, its all very well worth it!

Yeah, have to agree with M-ster here Manwe, maybe I dont get your point Are you saying that the time it takes to apply one Zaino treatment is the time equivalent of many car washes when the car is treated with Glare, but Zaino gives better results? So better to take the time and use a complete Zaino treatment vs. more frequent visits to the car wash if have Glare? Now I'm confusing myself, lol :p

Sorry for the confusion. Polishing car is time consuming. Zaino is time consuming too. But however, it beats other waxes. Most wax would only last about 2-3 weeks. However, Zaino is not a wax. It is actually a sealant and it is much tougher than wax. Though some people said that traditional wax is better, but it would imply spending every other weekend on waxing.

So Zaino is in between traditional wax and commercial sealants like Glare. I like sitting on fence. Haha.... Hope it clear up the confusion.

sgrenesis,

You can ask them to do it. The price is on the webpage. But I think it is very expensive. But I guess if you are too lazy, well.... it is not so bad.
