Wheel Spacers - Are they really safe?

Hi,

Just wanna check with you guys, are wheel spacers safe? If yes, how is the MAX. mm it can go?

PS: Wheel spacers are meant to make the position of the wheels wider apart.

Cheers !!!!!!!

no its not safe unless it is welded to the actual hub, so it will not come loose. then again, it is most likely a defect item anyway, check with your local authority first.
its better to replace the stud to a longer one, so you still maintain the whole length

Well for spacers, it needs to be hub centric type. But again, if you track, don't put spacers...as it will stress your suspension joints.

I had spacers in my previous ride, very stable but the ride quality degrades a bit.

Wheel spacers

Wow ,

In that case I had better not put spacers in my car. The shop seller said "If a Evo can fit the spacers, I don't see a less powerful and slower RX8 should be a problem."

That does not sound good to me as both cars are different.

Cheers
