I did

I even when to the headquarter in Melbourne APS and tune by the head technician there!

Result: ab-solu-tely disappointing initially.

Why? Just click the link in the sig and I will tell you why?

For the record, I still keep the unichip and continue to mod my car, it does the wonder and the car still responds positively with mods without retuning.

I so want to be able to fine tune it myself.

You mean you have starting problems? Is it harder to start? You mean you need to wait a while for the chip to boot up?

What chip mod do you recommended?

Will the Apexi SAFC do?

think not so much to wait for chip to boot up, but it's a ignition timing tuning problem, which will happen for some cars using unichip. not sure why it cannot be resolved easily and it can be a tough nut to crack.
