A friend of mine wants to invite rx8 club ppl to join them for a driving trip to Hatyai. Apparently they need to confirm by today (I know its kinda last minute to inform you guys, sorry). I'm just helping him to send this thread out. Below is the itenary:-


Would like to invite people from mazda forum who is interested to experience
long distance driving for a trip up to Hatyai, Southern Thailand this
October 2005. Will be bringing my mazda 3 up so here are the details...

Team player, able to drive up to 9 hours @ 100 - 140km/hr

Route / Schedule
28th October (Friday) - 2200hrs Gelang Patah (Esso)
29th October (Sat) - 0700hrs Sadao - Hatyai (Bukit Kayu Hitam)
30th October (Sun) - Hatyai
31st October (Mon) - 1100hrs - 1700hrs (Hatyai - Kuala Lumpur)
1900hrs - 2200hrs (Kuala Lumpur - Singapore)
1st November(Tues) - Deepavali

Total Distance
Over 1800km (Sin - Hatyai - Sin)

Hotel
The Regency, Hatyai (opp Lee Gardens) @ $45SGD per nights (2N total)

Highlights
Will be visiting all the famous thai buddist temple, shopping (Levis@ 60% /
Bras@50% discounts), Movies, Damn good n cheap food, very happening night
life.

Very difficult to find leh. Most of them are above 200km/hr. ......... yes including u :D

 

they put 100-140km/hr bcoz scared nobody dare to go if they put 200km/hr. Same goes for sepang trip, somebody told me 100-140 only but sekali everybody drive at 180-210...in the end i cannot catch up

Those going are evo7,8,9, mazda3GT and some subaru i think.

errr boh lah... i hvnt reached 200km/h yet...(dont listen to the rumours)

 

222....yer friend has organized a totally amazing drive...I'd love to do it! I can't confirm for the end of Oct. trip unfortunately, but if you could ask your friend to let the RX8club forum know when future trips like this will be organized, would be really appreciated....thx

 

Haatyai is in Southern Thailand...not exactly the best time to go, is it?
