Trip to Cameron/Geting Highlands

Hi, All. Any advice if use 8 to drive up to Careron and/or Gething? Not sure she can do the job.

Sure can drive up. But take care or you may not have a car to drive back. Especially Gentings. My friend's aunt's Rx300 gto stolen while in Genting and she had to take a bus back.

My suggestion is to get priviledge parking using a gold genting card or pay money to park in Genting hotel. Though i am not sure even that is safe.

Maybe Cameron safer.

It's quite true... Since the carparks are unguard and fogggy condition... Park at open space in front the Genting Hotel (the oldest hotel), I believe that is the safest since a lot of people walk around even when its late at night...

did it before.... you can go 2nd gear and 3rd gear...if no car in front, you can even go fourth if your speed is fast enough....but use 2nd gear to turn up those very nasty slopes(think got abt 2). Be warned....i came back without my logos cos they got stolen(at genting).

I think low gear no prob. The trip up is not very long anyway and the weather is cool.

Anything you can do is to tip the security guard and ask him to let you park somewhere safe. I think the b1(not exactly sure b-what) at first world is the safest as the security office is there. But its almost always full.

Cooler air will be much better for the car. Just don't fly off the cliff, I hear the 8 can't do that very well.
