Stiff Shifting Problem can be fixed
Guys,
I saw this part from R-Magic that will fix at the base of the shift stick, it seems to be able to correct the stiff shifting and the end result is a smooth shifting. Looks to me someone have to organise a group buy for this approx. 3000yen.

Mazdaspeed has just release a short shifter, I am sure this will solve the stiff shifting problem. Have been hunting for a short shifter awhile and finally. Here comes my next mod. Cheers.

The "stiffness" has gotten better on my RX8. It was quite bad when new, but has gradually improved to an acceptable level. It's just over the 1k mark now...and I hope it'll continue to improve. If anyone does get the MazdaSpeed or the R-Magic kit, I would definitely like to hear some feedback regarding whether there's any improvement.

M-ster,
Daniel told me the part alone cost $100. So far, interested parties are:
1. UG
2. Neon
I will do so more checks with them. I will leave this group buy open till Monday night.
