squeaking sound when braking

hey bros, just encountered a problem and wanted the expertise of you guys, recently i changed my rims from 16' to a 18', and when that happened my brakes started to squeak really loudly. so i thought it was the pads, went to get it changed, and the noise went off, but 2 days later im still hearing it. is there a problem with the rotors or something?

if you are REALLY worried about it get some brake cleaner and give everything a good shot. If you want to go crazy with it, take your wheel off - take your pads out and give them a little treatment with an SOS pad to smooth them out and clean all the **** off them. Worked for me.

Do you get it only when the rotors are cold as in usually after you stop your ride for a long time...............I get that usually after a car wash or after parking my ride overnight........

Am running on 19" and if your situation is according to above-mentioned, it is absolutely normal mate........ Like wat the other bro mentioned, as long as your brakes works perfect that is most important......

Cheers

Had the same issue myself. MM gave my brakes a full service and the squeak was gone. Might wanna try the same?

Perhaps it's becos you're brake disc is taking more braking power...... MT has bigger brake than AT, than's why your brake squeek.......
