It does make good sense to buy a second hand 8.
But like u say, it depends a lot on luck. Scully kanna a lousy driver who don't take care, then will pay for maintenance until bleed....
Nevertheless, I will scout around for second hand on your advice!!!!

Buying second hand as our Roulette friend so examplifies....is a ROULETTE!!! Its your luck! you just dont know what the previous guy did. Besides with the new 6AT coming out, any second hands are 4AT and that version has a lot of problems if I am not wrong. So IMO, not worth it for 4AT. Have asked around my "workplace" and gotten experience from people who own the 4AT now and they all say at the 2.5 to 3 years all have problems.

Try looking at Mirage's one and ask your dad's friend to match it... can fall off the chair man... 22k OMV.. ha ha ha.. but numbers wise it is attractive I must say but must find out why 22k in the first place.

Anyway, I got the stuff. Thanks for sharing! I will go through them tomorrow. Me got tons of work to do too. I'm a miserable engineer BTW....
