what makes u think that kah motor's workshops are any better than comfort delgro's...??.....both do routine services and maintenance so no need to expect anything special from them.....if u wanna maintain stock condition makes no diff....

if wanna mod.....i can always go to workshops that specialise in b16/b18/k20 engines......

I would assume that the 8 would handle better than the Bengmobil Type R but that remains to be seen. Know anyone buying a bengmobil anytime soon? :D
I'm not being modest.. nobody should be claiming any speed records if they can't repeat it consistently. Thus sprint timings are just good to know, but quite pointless. What is 6+ secs when there are cheaper cars that can do WELL UNDER 5 secs?

In my limited experience, the 8 really handles very very well. But when rubber meets the road, still depends if the driver can put his ***** where his mouth is. *sorry ladies*

Parts and experience.

Kah Motors uses original parts - PI workshops would prob not.

I'm sure Kah Motors / Honda trains its engineers on the finer points of maintaining a Honda engine.

With PI workshops it will prob be luck of the draw if you get a good mechanic or not.

Talking about modding, most folks will not have the cash to do everything they want at one time. Its a process.

Along this process, stock parts may break as they were not designed to work with aftermarket parts. This is when an authorised dealers warranty comes in handy. Take the 8's steering rack for example...it costs $1850 to replace from MM. If I had to pay that kinda cash to get something installed? Then it better be done by someone who fricking knows his **** imo.

Thats the diff.

Agreed.

Well under 5s? Only cheaper car that could do it would prob be the FD?

Frankly road racing is dumb. We all know it is dumb but we still do it anyway. Why not lets arrange a montly track day lor and do our own club race day?

I haven't seen an FD do under 5s and I don't think FDs that can are cheaper than our 8.

Ah tiang say wat, who say wat, i dun wan to noe. To any one who has doubts, i'm not the fastest, but definitely faster than 99% of the rx8 out in singapore. If not, charged for wat? Still in doubt, come run with me. If i dun T-E-A-R the doubters, i take out the SC grind it into powder, mix with water n swallow.

As for Mervin's car... becos he did some of the stuff at MG, i shld be clearing some of the doubts, although this is not my usual practise.

AP (Its APP - Aviation Performance Products) Steel Braided Brake Lines <New or the Leaking one?> APP brake lines are changed out due to leaks. Y leak, we dunno, cos not done by MG, but they are changed out for safety reasons. Brake lines have been changed to REVOLUTION steel braided lines, another popular rotary tuning company in Japan, which is in RX8 hyper rev.

Cusco Zero2E suspension (5 stiffness settings) <Got sound right?> Got sound due to pillow mounts. THose who are on CUSCO ZERO 2-E will noe this sound is super obvious especially so after hard driving. And those who are hard core trackies also noe this sound is pillow mount's characteristics. Even aragosta also have lor, so there is no reason y cusco pillow mount has no sound at all. However, owner has changed to new mounts and yes, change all 4 and yes, very recently.

all computer sensors working condition? solved or still Christmas lighting...? As for checks, i have asked owner to go back Mazda Motor to solve all problems as his is still under warranty. Of cos, MG has exactly the same IDS system as Mazda, but if we check, we will start to charge, which is not fair to owner. Latest visit from owner to MG, car is fine.

Any more questions or doubts? I'm here, anything, can ask.... i dun siam questions one.
