wow, i go out for drinks for one night with my colleagues, dont log on for one day, and the recall thread turns into a sociologically charged gender issue thread. Okay so maybe i should call myself something more butch like RotaryRaider or SuperlaserVroomVroomMaverick instead of snowflake (though I've liked snow since I was a kid) or snowWhite (since thats what INXS calls me)....
I've always operated on the assumption that this forum doesnt take itself too seriously, everyone is super funny in their own way and everything is said in good fun thus massive salt intake is recommended. And its more hilarious than the "come ah, i race you and we see who's faster, you bring your team and I bring my team and then we play scissors paper stone and see who win" atmosphere in other unnamed forums.
Hopefully, our 8s dont have some build flaw. Maybe it affects US made 8s or sth and the JDM imports are all sound. Someone must have caught on to Mazda Motors plan to take over the world by killing Americans with US built Mazdas. And if there's a flaw...well, i'll just go to MG....and poison myself further.

as for the flappy paddles (cos thats what I call my activematic/shiftronic/whatchamacallit), they are quite fun to play with, until i realised there was a trade off between power+control and fuel consumption. Just too addictive to drive from traffic light to traffic light in 2nd or 3rd gear at 5000 rpm. =p
