Hello to all fellow RX 8 owners,

Currently, I am 90% sure of getting the RX 8, but I need some advice here. I went to Naza motors, and they have the 03 and 05 models available. 03 models are all 'reconds', bout less than 3000 km travelled selling for RM 215k, both auto and manual. The 05 is brand new, but it's all auto and it's priced at RM250k.

I'm thinking of getting the manual '03, but I am not very impressed by the mileage travelled of the 03 models for that price. Did any of you guys who bought your cars from Naza encounter the same? Or are there better deals out there from any other dealers?

to be frank, naza is not the only car dealer for PIs maybe you can find other ones....

 

i'm looking for one rx8 myself. i do not think the price is that ex. there's a 05 red selling in motor trader for 229k b4 negotiating...

 

Motor Trader? Where is that? And is it a manual or auto? I would really appreciate some advice here, coz I don't really Naza's offer. Are there any other options?

 

Geezzzzzzz! I Envy you guys! In Thailand I got mine ('05 auto + 5 pcs. MS bodykit + DVD) for Bht 3,100,000 (roughly RM 300,000). Go for the new one, evildevil!

 

Hahaha was thinking of that, but I want a manual, and I don't think the '05 model has it, unless anyone can help me out here *sheepish*. Hehehe. Would appreciate more feedback here ppl. I want a good deal, but then again, who wouldn't?

i think that particular car is auto. go grab a current issue of 'motor trader' from newstand. it should have a couple of options. what colour are u looking for?

 

i got my car from Naza for RM200k and the mileage on my car was 1500km. if you guys need more infomation, give me a call, i can advise on which sales person to speak to in naza. i would recommend getting from naza because if there's anything, you could get them to replace it without much hassle.

 

and my car's a 6 speed but no leather or sunroof.

I assume yours is a 03 model. but for 200k, it sounds pretty reasonable. I'm looking for a white, but the only available colours are red, blue and silver. I'lll settle for the red

it's a 03 recond. yeah, pretty good deal i'd say. but i would prefer one with leather and sunroof....

 

But at least it is only 1500 travelled. The available ones there are leather (i think) but w/o sunroof and about 3000 travelled for RM215k. No no I say. Who is it in Naza that you spoke to? and which branch did you go to? I went to the Jalan Raja Muda branch. Spoke to Wong Yee Chon.

I believe you can press the 03 recon model to RM200k, and the 05 model new to RM230k.

 

Yes, I also like the Leather Seat and Sunroof version. But only the 05 model has it... which means RM230k!!!
