Ok, cool... let's hope the next meet will be bigger and better..

 

make it in the afternoon or morning if u wanna a photo taking session thereafter... if not during night time the effect will not be as clear & gd as day time

 

i agree... but day or afternoon, turnout will be affected.... cos if morning, must be a sunday cos saturday morning some got work commitment. however, a lot of pple tend to wake up late, like me on a lazy sunday morning, therefore turnout might be affected.

If saturday afternoon, some still have work commitments. Sunday afternoon, most will lament that its a family day on sunday, therefore family comes first, which i truely agree.

So although a friday night is the best time for a good turnout, the photograph taking session will be vastly affected, something wich i hope can be solved...... day time with many 8s lined up = shiok!!!!!

I suggest a sunday morning, at ard 11am. Not too late, not too early. Centralised area to ensure good turnout. All members shld try to contact each other to help rally all 8s to turn up...... an zhua gong???

 

actually we always have a Sun meet at 11am... but due to others commiments not many people turn out...

 

then u must think of incentives for them to turn up mar... like free drinks? :D

 

Then might I suggest the 8th of May.

No free drinks but we can watch the dressup competition. I think 8th of May is the first round, we don't have to enter our cars but we can walk around and see the other cars on display. And a group of RX8's all parked together is also cool sight.

Then We can also watch the car park circuit rack. It's the 2nd leg.

You should have seen all the 8s coming down from ecp to rochor road past Bugis....

It was like something out of Fast and furious and I regreted not having the video.

 

Well it's going to be full so it's hard to get all cars together... I was there for the first car park race and I was all alone, easier to find solo lots. And when I got thirsty I drove out to Macs Kallang and drove back to Stadium. People were already giving stares and all I have is the standard front dams, side skirt etc...

Can you imagine the commotion if the others were there.

 

the convoy and the many pairs of eyes watching were damn shiok....

if only more drivers have the walkie talkies... then we cld be more organised.....
