RSAF Open House 2006

This will be held @ Paya Lebar Airbase next Sat and Sun.

Tan is invovle becoz there is goin to be a Live demo !

They are pitting an Rx8 and an F16 !

Two will be lined up on Runway 1 and 2, winner is the one tat can be heard at the other end of the runway !

btw, a race was conducted in arizona luke air force base about 4yrs back between a F-16A/B and a Dodge viper. Donno the exact distance of the race, but am sure it is quite short, juz so that the F-16 don't take-off prior to the end of the race.

result: Round 1 - F-16 lost in military power....
Round 2 - Dodge viper lost when F-16 in after burner...

I think the F-16 was not carrying any external stores and her fuel tank is only half full...

 

Ermmm, F16 oni single engine lah......btw tink once i saw a cool vid of bike, car , boat and a plane in a straight fight from start, bike won !
