road trip on 13th now pixs for your viewing pleasure
yo bros n sistas
organising another day trip up north again.
dis time it's on saturday for those working hard on weekdays.
will be back in town by evening, before last light, for those who dun like night driving.
date : 13th aug saturday
venue : second link petronas
time : 0900, gas up and ready to move off
route : first leg up n/s highway,
turn off at ayer hitam to kluang, jemaluang, mawai, by pass desaru,
kg sungai rengit, kota tinggi and jb.
the above mentioned are points of rendezvous.
it's a loose convoy, you can drive at your own pace and hook up at next rendezvous for re-org before proceding to next point of rendezvous.
in dis way no cars will be lost or left far behind.
all rendezvous positions to the next is a direct track with no misleading turn offs.
i've oriedy recce the routes and make sure the road conditions are suitable even for those with bodykit, because i also have, and those with low profile tyres, because i aslo have. pot holes at high speed is not my volks best friends!
light lunch at kluang, seafood high tea at sungai rengit and optional dinner.
ops can be maintained by our walkies within a of 10nm radius and the entire route is covered by our hp network should there be a break in convoy.
note : driving in malaysia is not as treacherous as most make it out to be,
on the contrary it's enjoyable when carried out with planning and sensible driving.
come and try it, if the trip sucked you can flame me openly but not too
hard ya! :D :D

fret not bro it's not a mad rush, always a leisurely drive.
onli time we are required to maintain a tight convoy is in kluang n kota tinggi and even then the speed is, u noe city limit, slow....
the rendezvous positions i've identified plus the time i've allocated between each point will allow everyone to drive at their own pace.
u do not have to worry about keeping up with any cars unless u wan to.
certain straight stretches will allow you to test your Renesis while other stretches with a series of bends and turns test your mods like your set up, member brace, suspension and skills too.
i will show you the exact locations on my map when we meet up on the 13th.
you just have to come and experience it yourself mate....
i can't put justice to it with a few words

no worries bro just drive at your pace 3000rpm plus at 100km/h
guaranteed a minimum distance of 450km clocked, a step closer to running in your engine. :D

well, 450 for a day trip starting from 0900 is pretty short dude
not forgetting the breaks in between for wanton noddles, kopi, roti prata, teh tarik and seafood feast :D
else you can join us in sept but it's gonna take you a long time to run it in unless you clock more at your spare time.
i might have a weekday trip with some friends to mount fraser in early aug if you are interested but that's gonna be way more than 450km....

Hi jet
You know the place well, ru from Kluang? It’s about 140 km to Kluang town. Yes the road is in good condition even from Ayer Hitam to Kluang. Tested my RX8 on this roads before.
I used these roads more the 100 times (in my STI) before, my parent lives there.
Count me in!! Thx………….
