Road noise

Did anyone notice the road noise you hear while going over some rough surface? The noise I experience seems to come from the floor of my car. Any guys experience the same thing?

nex100, your question very cute leh..... every car except for the S Class and RR will have tyre noise going over rough surface. You need to expand your description...

Anyways the RX-8 is a sporty ride, with firmer suspensions and handling, so ride is rough. Even the Mazda 3 is quieter. If you really want quiet, then soundproof lor

Dont waste money on sound proofing. cos I did spend $1500 to do up the entire floorbed including wheel arc, door, and Boot.
U will never get the same effect as the Lexus.

My tyres are stock and I plan on using egale F1 in future so my noise is going to be louder.

Thx morganoh for your feedback so there is no hope of improving this noise.

I know every car has tyre noise but this is really loud as you have mentioned louder than a mazda 3. So i do find this quite bad.

Sound proofing will help abit, but do not expect Lexus quality

You need to be more specific on e kind of "Noise"......isit like tyre sound except that it is louder or some under carriage sound thta is like some loose ball joints or metal knocking sound?????

Go Monster Garage to get a second opinion! tat way, you can be more sure prior to changing your tyres/rims........

just my thought!
