Recommend dealer for RX-8 in Singapore

Dear fellow owners,

I am going to buy an Rx-8 (first time car buyer) and i have some questions.

Hopefully some of you can help me out?

1) Understand that to get the 6 speed auto version, have to get from Parallel Importer.
Any dealers to recommend in this aspect?

2) What should be included in the package?

3) What is the expected price to be paid? I noticed some variations in pricing packages at Sgcarmart.com.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Hi,
I booked a 6AT last week, and can only share my personal experience.

1) Understand that to get the 6 speed auto version, have to get from Parallel Importer. Any dealers to recommend in this aspect?

Mazda Singapore only brings in the 6MT. 6AT is only available from PIs. You already have a list of PIs from sgcarmart, but if you do a search on this forum, you will find that some members had good experience with other PIs, eg. world of wheels. I ordered mine from HYCarz.

2) What should be included in the package?

As far as I understand, PIs typically offer the basic/standard package, with sports fabric seats and factory fitted audio system, and only 1 year/20000km warranty. Leather seats, bose system, fog lights etc. will cost extra.

3) What is the expected price to be paid? I noticed some variations in pricing packages at Sgcarmart.com.

The prices posted at sgcarmart are not directly comparable, as some included cash rebates from financing at higher interest rates (eg. 4% vs 2.85% without cash rebate), and add-ons such as leather seats etc. OMV must also be taken into account, but I was told this is not available yet in the case of the 6AT, as the first batch is still being shipped to Singapore.

Happy shopping!

ya, Fluid4 did quote me a reasonable price, but not sure whether it's the cheapest.

I got a few quotes from diff PI. Comparing the highest to the lowest quotes, i got 4k difference!

I'm looking for a very basic 5MT with no sunroof, no leather seat, no 18" sport rims, etc.
