:D Remember what auntie says....it's always fun until someone loses an eye...haha

I wonder why RB called it a ram air duct...you think they would call it a cold air duct in keeping with it's whole purpose.

Looks impressive, didn't look as big in the promo pic on top but the pic of it fitted on the car looks pretty damn impressive.

But when moonson season come, the guy who installed this better have a water purging device or he will cry.

no need to purge... when the moonson season comes... he just has to reverse it and put it the other way and it becomes a snorkel.

great idea. Why didn't i think of it. Such a great idea makes SUV redundant.

Back to topic; i had installed one on my civic 7 years ago. And i did have a little problems with it sucking water. BTW mine was custom made by myself as there were no such kits then.

The worse problem was the time when chinatown was flooded and i drove through. Engine nearly died.

:D

I've read that the air duct has small holes along the base of the 90 degree curve to separate water from air to ensure only cool air travels up to the intake, not a bad design really. However, some interesting threads elsewhere about increased heat at low/standard revs. Have to really push 'er to get any real benefit.
