route : first leg up n/s highway, yong peng, paloh, kluang,
jemaluang, mawai, kg sungai rengit, jb.
this route has a slight variation compared to last aug's trip

the above mentioned are points of rendezvous.
it's a loose convoy, you can drive at your own pace and hook up at e next rendezvous position for re-org before proceding to e next point.
in dis way no cars will be lost or left far behind.
all rendezvous positions to the next is a direct track with no misleading turn offs.

brunch at yong peng, seafood high tea at sungai rengit and optional dinner in jb.
ops can be maintained by our walkies within an estimated 8km radius and the entire route is covered by our hp network should there be a break in convoy.

once u have cleared the malaysian customs followed immediately by a toll both,keep left immediately
look out for a big signage with diagrams of prayer/dining/rest/petrol stops along the left road shoulder.

take the second left turn although it will lead you to the prayer/dining/rest stop initially.
drive through the parking area of the prayer/dining/rest stop and you will see esso and petronas station at the other end.
should u be in doubt pls call me immedaitely at 9871 3626

however, should you missed the turn all is not lost yet.
keep going and stick to left lane when you see petronas, pull over on the road shoulder and back the car into the station....
word of caution, no not take e first turn! it will lead u to neverland!!!
a certain blue 8 can attest to dat.

estimate to reach the singapore customs no later than 0830 in order to arrive at petronas with enough time to gas up and get acquainted before we hit the road......

this is a confirmed trip regardless of e number of participants.
ps. dun forget to bring your pair of walkies n ringgit

Guys,

Just a word of advise... the police are out in full force!

and it is a RM300 on the spot fine. It is not going to be fun having to obey the speed limit.

They are also checking on the lights, 3rd brake lights, tyres.

Sorry guys. no Show for Vertical Door Kit cos not enough time.

Not enough time to install the Vertical Door kit after installing Flywheel, Clutch, and Muffler box.

So have to wait till after the hari raya

 

vertical doors is a one day job man....

 

Its going to take more than a day cos.
Its not just installing the door only.

As there is a Airbag activation sensor on the side of the door for all MM cars. once u cut the wires connecting the car frame to the doors, u will have to reset the ECU.

And currently my friend has only reset those Parallel imported cars with just 2 airbags. so he will need to confirm that if the resetting is the same for MM cars with 6 Airbags.
Fast job can be done by just cutting the wires and extending them by just connecting them twist 2 wires together and tape them up. (this is how most people do their job) but the more pro way will be cut, connect, twist, solder, and tape.

And furthur more the job is done free by a friend with no Charges. so I don't think that I should rush him as (he as already fork out 3-4 days just to install my flywheel, clutch, and muffler for me for free)
