As there is a Airbag activation sensor on the side of the door for all MM cars. once u cut the wires connecting the car frame to the doors, u will have to reset the ECU.
And currently my friend has only reset those Parallel imported cars with just 2 airbags. so he will need to confirm that if the resetting is the same for MM cars with 6 Airbags.
Fast job can be done by just cutting the wires and extending them by just connecting them twist 2 wires together and tape them up. (this is how most people do their job) but the more pro way will be cut, connect, twist, solder, and tape.
And furthur more the job is done free by a friend with no Charges. so I don't think that I should rush him as (he as already fork out 3-4 days just to install my flywheel, clutch, and muffler for me for free)

The friend that wanted to fabricate the door is very experience in vertical doors.
if u had seen the Hot Stuff Magazine (few mths ago) his car was used for the front page , its a yellow Tuscani
But he gave up the ideal. cos its too costly as the Rx8 door kit required a sepcial bending angle on the kit and its not going to be accurate if refabricate.
Its another friend. (got alot of friend providing free services leh.... )

Hi Guys,
Seeing I Am the first to post on this thread after the trip, I assume I am the first one back!
Thanks Jetblast for the trip, definitely fun.....even managed to go a little faster this time....haha
Anyways as asked by jetblast to report, the trip from breakoff at Carefour to M'sia chkpoint was pretty ok...ave 60-70kmh...reached chkpoint at 2000hr and cleared both Sing and M'sia chkpoints in 10 mins flat...in fact was the ONLY car at M'sia side....
Hope this helps...hope the rest who went woodlands way not still stuck in jam....
Cheers.

Since the damping is hard the car will have the tendency to skip but later at the rest stop i raised the damping by 5 stops, it did help abit but think i have to go in with more back up, the WORKS!
Another point that people didnt realise is that the fe32 has got the DSC so it really helps, as for us JDM, we like it "RAW"
