Guess what I saw at the Mazda Alabang dealer today



I talked to the branch manager and they're planing to bring it in this year or the next. No pricing & no idea on what type of transmission will be available.

 

My guestimate would be 50-60% of Mazda's US fuel economy. We have a lot of stop & go traffic eh.

 

Try Batangas Race Circuit (BRC) in Rosario, Batangas or Subic International Race Track (SIR) in Bataan. Use NLEX (sweet rehab'd expressway. reminds me of the expressways of Italy) to SIR and SLEX (needs some work) for BRC.

 

hahah.....ive been seeing quite a couple of rx-8's here in manila, the ones i saw are blues, and reds...one in espana,manila.....other one in roosevelt,avenue.....i really hope they sell rx-8's here ^_^

 

i have one here... i also have one more stock of rx8 here in quezon city... black rx8

 

So how much do the 8's go for in Manila?

I'd be scared to drive one there cause of the traffic and Jeepneys.

 

2M pesos... you just have to drive crazy enough just like in the movie tokyo drift so that the jeepney drivers will get scared at you and might as well avoid you... haha! =)

not really... i've only seen about 4...

 

been in cebu for the past 3 weeks on vacation, havent seen any 8s (didnt expect to really)
have seen a WRX RS 2.5, R32, and FD, thats it lol
the big mall here, SM, has banners everywhere advertising a new wing and parking deck and there is a VR RX8 on it =P

 

'sup fellas!? is there a rotary community in PI? reason I' asking is I'm separating from the mlitary soon and I plan on shipping my coupe to Makati and try to finish my degree out there. I'm probably gonna leave it there as I plan to make frequent trips...

yup, but the gov't wouldn't pay for the shipping since my home of records is in Oakland, CA
...so I know it's gonna be a big chunk coming out of my pocket =)

not sure yet, I have 'til the end of this year to make my mind up... I figured if I'm gunna use my MGIB, might as well do it over there so I can be with my "nanay" lola. I'm doing this for her... she wants me to finish college and I want her to be there when I graduate.

Lol I was gonna post the same thing, except you missed the R34, FC and FB, 350Z and then the maroon Corvette in Banilad. I saw that SM banner you mentioned. I was there around Sinulog week. The henna tattoo on my arms are still here... and they said they would erase in 2 weeks. It's been 3 months!

just went back to manila last april, saw 1 white rx8 at The fort "embassy" i asked how much he got the car, he just said that it was shipped from japan and had it convert to left hand drive, he has the complete ms body kit too, i wish i had my car too when i was there
