anyone knows how to check whether that particular rims...example..CE28...or mazdaspeed rim.....original or not.......

 

Most Volks Racing rims will come with the original Jap sticker on the inside of the rims specifying size and offset. The weight for forged rims also play a part and I dont tink chiong VR look rim can be as light as original. The curve spokes for CE28N original and chiong ones are diff in some cases. Still I think weight and built quality (the forged arms and quality of paint etc etc) is the most significant.

If the fake VR has fake stickers, weigh the same as original and has the same type of paint work, then go buy the fake one lor and save lots of $$$. In real life, no way so go weigh the rims first.

1 set of OEM rims got diff offsets, can mix and match too...

this is bcoz iwent to a 2nd hand dealer.....
and there is a recond car of a silver 8...
it come wit a mazdaspeed spoiler....
..hks absorber....
trust exhaust.......
...and a te37..large pcd / porsche...version....it looks similar n forgotten which one is which at that time....

anyhoo...the sticker already gone and i forgot to look at those 'made in japan'...forged monoblock'...thingy....

the dealer offer me a price that reasonable.....it just that is it worth it or not je lah.....
