Thanks for the video post! How is this 11 minute video being used? Is it just dealer promo, or actually advertisement on TV?

Also, it was interesting to see in Japan the RX-8 is considered a 2003 model. The only terms I could understand were 'RX-8' and 'Sports Car'

I've downloaded the video on to my desktop. But I could play the video only with sound and without images??

Awesome video! I was a little worried about the RX-8's safety when it comes to side impact collision and this video, even though it's in Japanese, help relieve some of my concerns.

 

I tried Windows Media Player and Divx, no luck. Going to update both and see what happens.

 

It's not DivX. If you've got Windows Media Player, you just have to get it updated.

 

Did anyone who was having trouble with the image working in Windows Media Player get it to work??

I've tried updating my WMP and it still only gives me sound?

 

Maybe you're missing the codecs (just guessing)? Try this website here
and in the top drop-down box select Windows Media Encoder, then select the appropriate items in the next dropdown boxes.

 

The video codec is the old Microsoft MPEG-4 V3, if you install the latest DivX codec (5.05), you should be able to play it, as long as your Media Player is 6.4 or higher.
