I am new to this (club and car). Had my 8 for about 2 months. Probably one of the few OPCs in SG.

Anyway, I saw on the classifieds today that a PI is selling new 8's for $85k? I am sure most of us bought it for much more...

Given that I've had a bad month at work, I could really do with some cheering up.

Do you know why its going so cheaply? Tell me we didn't get ripped off pls !

 

could they by any chance be mixing up the miles/price numbers? But if he sells the car for that much, I'm totally selling mine!

Actually that price is quoted in Singapore dollars. Its actually considered quite cheap!

Yes, the RX-8 costs that much here. Most of it goes to the Government in taxes though. 1USD approx 1.3SGD.

It's very possible that it doesn't come with COE.

these PIs will always throw in the lowest prices in their ads and when you go there all kinds of tricks come up..

 

Either is without COE or After Cash Rebate.. This type of gimmicks very common nowadays to attract customer.. dun worry lah, no car salesmen willing to sell way below the market price unless ter looking for 0% profit... I been through alot of car sales esp those PI ones, alot of add tis n add tat.. end up mostly same price..some the will different by few thousands.. but if u compare, the differences also mean difference in specs n assessories.

 

its confirmed w/o COE cos COE is a variable. Its oso a marketing gimmick
